Position X and Position Y locate the top-left corner of the area to keep.
X moves the start rightwards from the left edge; Y moves it downwards from the top. X 100 and Y 50 skip 100 columns and 50 rows.
Width and height set the retained pixel area. A 600 by 600 rectangle creates a square if it fits inside the source; cropping does not enlarge it.
The exported rectangle stops at each source image boundary.
In an 800-pixel-wide image, X 700 leaves only 100 pixels of width. Asking for 400 pixels returns those remaining 100; reduce X when you need a wider crop.
Each batch image uses the same numeric rectangle. Different source sizes can produce different output sizes after clamping; inspect each result before assuming a shared square or portrait shape.
The numeric width and height define the crop shape.
For 4:3, use a pair such as 800 by 600 that fits the source. For a square, enter equal values; verify both fields rather than relying on the ratio label alone.
Resize the downloaded crop when an upload needs smaller dimensions. If you removed important details, crop again from the original; resizing cannot restore those pixels.
Resize the cropped imageThe crop area is clamped to the image boundaries; pixels outside the original image are not added. Only the selected rectangle is included in the downloaded copy, so cropping removes content rather than shrinking the whole picture. Keep the original if you may need a wider composition later.
These edits run on your device in the browser, so the image is not uploaded to our processing server. The browser reads the selected file and creates a new downloadable copy without overwriting the original. Available memory and format support depend on your browser; very large or unsupported files may need a different tool. This does not mean the website makes no network requests for its normal assets.
