Prepare text that fits the image

Use a short name, reference or website address that remains readable at the size you intend to share.

Replace the example text

The field starts with LoveMyFiles.com. Replace it with your own wording before processing. Long text can extend beyond the image, especially when rotated; shorten it or reduce the text size.

Set the final image dimensions first

Watermark size follows the shorter image dimension, with a minimum text size of 12 pixels. Resize the source first when preparing a small thumbnail so you can judge the final lettering.

Review placement across the batch

One set of watermark settings applies to the accepted images. Different backgrounds and proportions need individual review.

Check contrast and rotated edges

Choose a color and opacity that remain visible over each photo. Rotation can push lettering near a corner outside the canvas, so inspect the downloaded result for missing letters before sharing.

Choose a single mark or a tiled pattern

The position control places a single watermark at one of nine locations. Tiled mode repeats the text across the image instead; check that repeated lettering leaves important details readable.

Keep an unmarked source for later edits

Watermarking runs in your browser and draws the text into the downloaded image pixels.

Save the original separately

The downloaded watermark is part of the picture rather than an editable text layer. Keep your original image so a spelling change or a different position does not require repairing the marked copy.

Use the mark as a visible label

A name or reference helps identify a shared copy, but the mark can still be cropped or edited. Review the final file at its intended display size; faint lettering may disappear when viewed as a thumbnail.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark several images together?

Yes. The same text, position, opacity and size settings can be applied to up to 30 accepted images. Check each preview when mixing portrait and landscape photos: a suitable position on one image may cover important content on another. The downloaded copies contain the watermark; your original files are not overwritten.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

These edits run on your device in the browser, so the image is not uploaded to our processing server. The browser reads the selected file and creates a new downloadable copy without overwriting the original. Available memory and format support depend on your browser; very large or unsupported files may need a different tool. This does not mean the website makes no network requests for its normal assets.
