Branded addresses
Use automatically assigned address details, or choose an available brand and alias in the customization options.
Turn a long web address into a branded link you can share. Choose an alias, add campaign labels, set an optional expiry and download a QR code. Sign up or log in to save your link.
A short URL replaces a long path and query string with a compact address. LoveMyFiles uses brand.lovemyfiles.com/slug: the brand identifies the subdomain, and the alias identifies a saved link within it. This is a LoveMyFiles subdomain rather than a domain you bring yourself.
The short address uses an HTTP 302 redirect. Update its destination later without replacing links already shared or printed. Check the brand and alias before saving: neither can be renamed. Keep the destination relevant to what readers were promised.
Start with the exact page readers should reach, including any query parameters it needs.
Enter a complete public HTTP or HTTPS address. Default address details are assigned automatically.
Expand Customize your short link to override the brand or alias, add a title, set UTM parameters or choose expiry.
Select Shorten URL and sign in or create an account if prompted. Check the saved result, then copy, share or download its QR code.
Manage the saved link from your account.

Download PNG or SVG from a saved short link.
Add source, medium, campaign, term and content without manually assembling the destination query string.
Set a future expiry to stop redirects at that time, or pause the link yourself.
Update the destination without replacing the saved address. Its brand and alias remain fixed.
Review clicks, approximate visitors, countries, devices, browsers, operating systems, referrers, UTM campaigns and suspected bot traffic. Missing request information may appear as unknown.
The saved link's QR action generates a code locally in your browser for PNG or SVG download. It encodes the short URL with qr=1 and follows the current destination while the link remains active. Test the export before printing posters, menus, packaging or signage.
QR-tagged opens count requests to a tagged address, not verified camera scans. Anyone can share that address without scanning.
For more design options, use the QR Code Generator with your short URL. Preserve the qr=1 parameter when QR-tagged reporting matters.
UTM parameters label traffic for systems that read them. Use utm_source for the publisher, utm_medium for the channel and utm_campaign for the promotion. Optional utm_term and utm_content distinguish keywords or creative versions. For a newsletter, source=newsletter and medium=email are useful labels.
Other destination query parameters are preserved. A non-empty UTM field overrides an existing parameter with the same name; blank fields preserve existing UTM values. Keep names consistent for meaningful comparisons, and avoid personal information in labels.
Use a readable alias in SMS, WhatsApp, email or presentations when people may type the address. On brochures and business cards, pair it with a QR code and a clear destination description.
Use separate links to compare poster and newsletter placements. Choose an expiry deliberately for a temporary event or offer. Before publishing, check each link's destination, campaign labels and availability.
Validation checks for public HTTP or HTTPS addresses and rejects embedded credentials and private-network targets. It does not scan for malware or endorse the page. The full destination is hidden and can change. Treat unexpected login, payment or download requests with caution.
Approximate non-bot visitor counts use a per-link hash rotated every 30 days. The same visitor can count again after rotation. The analytics database does not save raw IP addresses or full user-agent strings; infrastructure logs are separate. Scheduled cleanup uses 90-day event retention and 365-day daily aggregate retention. Read the privacy policy for the wider data practices.
For a suspicious LoveMyFiles short link, use the contact form and include the short address and your concern.
It is currently free, with a limit of 1,000 saved links per account. Sign up or log in to save and manage links. Visitors need no account to open an active link.
Brands accept lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number. Aliases accept lowercase letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens, starting with a letter or number. System names are reserved.
Aliases must be unique within their brand. System names and deleted aliases stay reserved. Choose another alias. A brand owned by another account is also unavailable.
No. The saved brand and alias are immutable. Edit the destination to keep the address, or create another link for a different address.
It stops redirecting. Blocked and deleted links are also unavailable. Expiry is optional; leaving it unset does not guarantee lifetime availability.
No. Its short address follows the updated destination while the link remains active. The existing PNG or SVG can still be used.
Other query parameters are preserved. A non-empty field replaces its matching UTM parameter. An existing UTM value remains when its builder field is blank.
No. The generated QR URL includes qr=1. Tagged opens can come from copying or sharing that address. Camera scans are not verified.
No. Per-link hashes rotate every 30 days to estimate non-bot visitors. Browser differences and rotation affect counts. Adding link totals does not deduplicate people across links.
Use a complete public HTTP or HTTPS URL without credentials or custom ports. Private-network targets are rejected. Validation does not certify website safety.
Follow a practical campaign example from the first URL to a printed QR, with clear checks for tracking and expiry.
